USA Basketball Announces 2014-16 Roster!

Team USA will be a little bit bigger this year. USA Basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski and chairman Jerry Colangelo “announced a 28-man roster of NBA players to build the U.S. men’s basketball team around the next three years. The roster likely will provide the pool of players for the 2014 World Cup of Basketball in Spain and the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics.”

"The roster itself is the strongest roster we’ve ever had," Colangelo said. "The excitement for coach and me is how we’ve brought these players through our infrastructure through the years."

So, who made the cut? I’ll give you a few: Kyrie Irving (Cleveland Cavaliers), Chris Paul (Los Angeles Clippers), Derrick Rose (Chicago Bulls), James Harden (Houston Rockets), Kyle Korver (Atlanta Hawks), Carmelo Anthony (New York Knicks), LeBron James (Miami Heat), Blake Griffin (Los Angeles Clippers), Tyson Chandler (New York Knicks), and DeMarcus Cousins (Sacramento Kings).
