BTS: DC SHOES HEADQUARTERS

For all you DC shoes and apparel fans, take a look and see where it all happens! The space is AWESOME! You have to check it out! I, myself, own a lot of DC t-shirts! I love good quality tees.

Since its foundation as Droors Clothing by Ken Block and Damon Way, DC Shoes has been one of the pinnacle growth stories in action sports. The brand has grown immensely since its inception, in part due to its unwavering dedication to supporting the activities it loves the most. This chiefly involves skateboarding, and the brand has continually maintained a decorated roster of the most prolific professional skaters in addition to other action sport athletes.

WEEZY Opens Skatepark In His Hometown: DOPE!

“I just want to help out my city, help out the people and the kids, give them something to do, something they haven’t done before,” he said. “It’s always good to learn something new.” - LIL WAYNE

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WEEZY! xo @RozOonTheGo

Lil Wayne showed off his beginner skateboarding skills alongside a group of professional skateboarders Wednesday to mark the opening of the artist’s new Trukstop park in his hometown.

The Grammy-winning rapper demonstrated jumps — but didn’t always land on his board — while Paul Rodriguez and Theotis Beasley from the Los Angeles area performed kick flips, board slides, hand plants and other higher-level tricks for the crowd at the park located in the Lower 9th Ward, one of the most devastated sections of the city after levees failed during Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Lil Wayne told The Associated Press he started skating about a year and a half ago when he saw and was impressed by the skating skills of a 9-year-old boy and thought it looked interesting.

LIL WAYNE Focused On Business ‘There’s No Beef W/PUSHA T:

LOS ANGELES — With a clothing line and a powerhouse group of artists under his umbrella, Lil Wayne claims he’s trying to stay above the fray.

The rapper says “there’s no beef” between himself and Pusha T, despite back-and-forth diss songs released in recent weeks. Conflict between the two, simmering for years, boiled over when Pusha T of The Clipse – signed with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music group – released a track targeting Lil Wayne and his Young Money signee Drake.

Lil Wayne, who rarely responds in such cases, quickly released a brief song online called “Ghoulish” aimed at Pusha T “and anybody that love him.”

But in an interview at a Los Angeles Macy’s department store to promote his skateboarding-inspired Trukfit clothing line, Lil Wayne told The Associated Press he doesn’t plan to escalate the Pusha T conflict. He’s got business – and fashion – on his mind.
