Style: ODD FUTURE x VANS Syndicate Old Skool Pro “S”

Got my Vans on and they look like sneakers! *singing* So OFWGKTA’s Tyler, the Creator teased the collaboration with Vans earlier, now welcome to the unveiling! It was inevitable for these guys to partner up being that Tyler is clearly a Vans enthusiast! Check out the custom packaging! It actually reminds me of the Beats By Dre headphones packaging, so that’s pretty dope! So you have premium suede kicks with the cool “Golf Wang” embroidery. Additionally, it’s further custom detailed with Odd Futures’ tongue branding, special footbed graphics and yeah, the packaging. The special edition kicks are available now, in various colors - exclusively at Vans Syndicate. Check out more images after the jump!

VIDEO: IFHY - TYLER, THE CREATOR

These ODD FUTURE kids keep me entertained! I admit, I’m confused at times as to whether I like them or just pay attention because it’s my job. Well, I LOVE creative people and you can’t deny the talents these cats possess. I actually like this record and I appreciate the visuals directed by Wolf Haley, are dope! Tyler, The Creator recently spoke with Billboard about directing movies and being rejected by Justin Bieber! Be sure to check it out here! Keep up with the movement guys, we’re watching! Even if it’s out of curiosity; we’re watching. Ha! Oh, a major shout out to my former co-worker at Interscope Records Chris Clancy who helms the Odd Future empire with his wife! That Odd Future reign won’t let up anytime soon & I love to see people that I’ve worked with play a major part in major movements! Congrats! xo @rozOonThego

“I knew I was eventually going to be famous or something, but not so quickly,” says Tyler, 22. “There’s so much that’s gone on in three years that I can’t even comprehend it all.”

“My advice to him is to continue to search and never become complacent.” - Pharrell Williams

Grammy Winner FRANK OCEAN Deep Into NEW Album!

Ok, so Frank Ocean’s apparently been hard at work on his follow-up to Channel Orange. He spoke with BBC Radio recently revealing that he’s “like 10, 11 songs” deep into the project. “It’s another cohesive thing, bordering on a concept record again,” said Ocean. “At the end of Channel Orange, there’s ‘Golden Girl,’ and it’s this beach scene.  And I kind of want it to extend that feel into the next record all together, kind of make it that theme.”

He told the station that he plans to rent a place in the beautiful Bora Bora to continue working on the new album after he was to leave London“I put a studio in my house but it’s all in road cases,” said Ocean. “I’m going to take it all to the beach … and work for a few weeks.” I personally can’t wait for his follow up album and being that he won a Grammy for ‘Best Urban Contemporary Album’ my peers and his fans may be eager as well! Bora Bora is a beautiful place so I’m sure he’ll have loads of inspiration. xo @rozOonThego

Sidenote: Did you notice that I introduced him differently since he won the grammy? Ha!

MILEY CYRUS Signs New Record Deal W/RCA:

According to Billboard, Miley ‘has signed a deal with RCA Records, who will release her so-far untitled album later in 2013.’ We know she’ll have a star line-up of producers, one being Dr. Luke who’s well-known for producing major hits for Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj! Oh yeah, he also produced Miley’s ‘Party In The USA.’ She also mentioned that she’ll be working with Odd Future’s, Tyler, the Creator on a track for the new LP! I can’t wait to see how this turns out! :)
