Talk about a luxurious lifestyle! How’d you like to ride around town on this Lotus C-01 Motorcycle?! Well, being that I can’t ride (a motorcycle) I’d love to be driven around on this. According to HB, it took two years of planning and intense development by Kodewa Performance Motorcycles to bring us this nice bike. It’s the first ‘motorcycle to bear the legendary Lotus marque.’
"The C-01 will be available in a range of styles, some of which pay homage to Lotus’ sporting pedigree. A customization service is also available." Only 100 units of this super-bike will be sold! Head over to Lotus for more information & read more at the source: High Snobiety!
"Beginning October 1, 2014 CVS has announced that they will no longer be selling cigarette and tobacco products – a decision that will make them lose almost $2 Billion in revenues annually. President and CEO of CVS Caremark Larry J. Merlo had this to say in a statement:
“Ending the sale of cigarettes and tobacco products at CVS/pharmacy is the right thing for us to do for our customers and our company to help people on their path to better health. Put simply, the sale of tobacco products is inconsistent with our purpose. As the delivery of health care evolves with an emphasis on better health outcomes, reducing chronic disease and controlling costs, CVS Caremark is playing an expanded role in providing care through our pharmacists and nurse practitioners. The significant action we’re taking today by removing tobacco products from our retail shelves further distinguishes us in how we are serving our patients, clients and health care providers and better positions us for continued growth in the evolving health care marketplace.”
I am a-OK with this move. If you wanna live a healthy lifestyle you gotta cut out the unhealthy shit! I applaud CVS for making such a bold & needed chess move! Duane Reade, Walgreens .. what’s up?! xo ROZ-O!
"One month since entering a rehab center to treat an eating disorder, Ke$ha has announced that she will postpone her upcoming March and April tour dates in the U.S. to continue treatment."
"I was so looking forward to performing at these dates but I need to follow my Doctor’s advice and get my health back on track,” says Ke$ha in a press statement about the decision. "All of your support during this time has been so amazing. I couldn’t have done this without you all. I look forward to coming back stronger than ever on the next tour."
The beautiful and talented Lea Michele covers the latest issue of Teen Vogue. She’s looks so angelic! Speaking of ‘angels’, the cover girl spoke in detail about Cory Monteith and how his passing affected her. The Glee star shared details with her best friend Jonathan Groff about her relationship with Cory and where she found the strength after he passed away. See a few excerpts below and be sure to pick up the issue! xo ROZ-O!
"He was such a fan, you don’t understand. He would be like, ‘You’re going to be a pop star! What are we going to do? Are we going to, like, go on the road?’ He would say, ‘This is going to be big!’ and I’d be like, ‘I don’t know.’ He heard every song and gave me his notes on everything. He loved ‘Battlefield.’ I’m getting chills thinking about it. I would say ‘Burn With You’ was his favorite. He came into the studio that day.’
Her love for Cory:
"I somehow feel the insane love Cory and I had for each other morphed into this strength that I have right now. There’s just something about knowing he’s watching everything I’m doing and feeling like I have to do everything now, not just for me, but for him. I also have a safety net below me - if I fall or if it’s too much, my friends and family will be there to catch me."
I have supporters all over the world, so I have to greet you accordingly! I hope all my wonderful Tumblr ‘followers’ & others who visit my blog regularly are doing well on this fine Hump Day! I thank you for your continued support. I find myself in creative overload lately and that’s a good & bad thing. When you’re so passionate about something & you’re in your zone sometimes you have a not so good relationship with sleep. In my business of Entertainment you’re praised for having that ‘24-hour grind’, but as I get older you realize you need to at least take a cat nap! When you’re passionate about something not even sleep can get in the way, but it should. When your body becomes exhausted you’re not good for yourself or anyone else. I say this to say, take care of you body & make your health a priority! This is a lifestyle blog, so I felt the need to touch on my lifestyle :). I also get several messages per day requesting that I post more personal posts. Soooo I did! I’ve been team no sleep for weeks because I truly want to bring you guys my official blog sooner than later. I’ve taken the pressure off myself however, and I’m practicing what I preach: It happens in God’s timing and not our own.
So, thank you for continuing to support this personal blog & my movement. No post or words can describe how much I appreciate each and every one of you! The love on here is tremendous and it doesn’t go unnoticed! Now, go out there and be great. Thanks for reading!
KEVIN HART may be one of the hottest & funniest comedians around right now, but he gets serious for the latest issue of UPSCALE magazine! Check out an excerpt below where Hart speaks about his love life and the rumors surrounding it:
“I read so much stuff that Black women say, especially about my relationship. ‘Oh, he left his Black wife to go be with some exotic chick.’ First of all, my girl is Black. She’s Jamaican. But they say it as if they know what me and my ex-wife’s problems were. When we first got together, our relationship was amazing. We got married young and our s*** got rocky. In my divorce, I stood up and said to my ex-wife, ‘Hey, I messed up. This had nothing to do with you. I didn’t understand what marriage was. I cheated. I was wrong. We couldn’t fix it, it got worse. I stepped away because I didn’t want it to get any worse. You’re the mother of my kids, I don’t want to hate you. And the only way that’s gonna happen, is if I’m the bigger man and I leave.’ I think that was a very mature thing to do.”
Be sure to check out the #1 film in the country ‘Ride Along' starring Ice Cube & Kevin Hart!
Salute to these guys! According to Billboard, ‘the pop-rock trio [fun.] is launching a campaign to raise money for at-risk LGBT youth in Detroit.’ They plan to raise $250,000 to build a community health center for the Ruth Ellis Center, which provides housing, meals, clothing and medical services for LGBT youth in need.
Funds will be raised through the organization: The Ally Coalition. The guys started this organization with Jack Antonoff’s sister, designer Rachel Antonoff.
Support the cause if you can! If you can’t send funds, spreading the word is just as helpful! xo ROZ-O!
How Cute is this?! Check out Exclusive behind scenes video from Billboard.com of Monae visiting the legendary Sesame Street here. xo Roz-O!
"I am so excited to be living one of my dreams — to be here on ‘Sesame Street,’" the sharply-dressed singer told Billboard. "I’m here because I am teaching everybody on ‘Sesame Street’ the importance and the power of ‘yet.’ Never, ever, ever give up because there’s so much power in ‘yet.’"
We need to stop buying into the myth about gender equality. It isn’t a reality yet. Today, women make up half of the U.S. workforce, but the average working woman earns only 77 percent of what the average working man makes. But unless women and men both say this is unacceptable, things will not change. Men have to demand that their wives, daughters, mothers, and sisters earn more—commensurate with their qualifications and not their gender. Equality will be achieved when men and women are granted equal pay and equal respect.
Humanity requires both men and women, and we are equally important and need one another. So why are we viewed as less than equal? These old attitudes are drilled into us from the very beginning. We have to teach our boys the rules of equality and respect, so that as they grow up, gender equality becomes a natural way of life. And we have to teach our girls that they can reach as high as humanly possible.
We have a lot of work to do, but we can get there if we work together. Women are more than 50 percent of the population and more than 50 percent of voters. We must demand that we all receive 100 percent of the opportunities.
