ROZ-O ON THE GO!
Well, actually, I was at work! This is where it all began. Everyone wasn’t blessed to start at the label that’s known as ‘Bootcamp’ in the Music Industry. Behind those doors is where seasoned Executives were made. It’s known knowledge in the Industry that if you worked for Puff (Diddy) during the 19th Streets days then you can work absolutely anywhere, and I’m living proof that this is true! I went on to work at all the Major Record Labels & Distributors and MTV Networks, Inc.. Working at Bad Boy Records (now known as Bad Boy Worldwide) was challenging, grueling and rewarding all in one! I was attending New York University when I began interning at the imprint and I quickly began inhaling and exhaling the knowledge that was given to me in a fast paced environment. Interning was short and climbing the ladder was quick. I can’t possibly put my entire experiences in one post, but I wanted to acknowledge a part of my career .. apart of me on Throwback Thursday! With a roster with artists: Faith Evans, 112, Notorious B.I.G., Total, Ma$e, The Lox, Craig Mack and Black Rob we were the hottest movement at the time! I still have old marketing plans and itineraries in storage! I’m pictured with super security guard Paul in the mailroom which was the heartbeat of the office. I could go in there and pick the brains of everyone in that room; they knew everything that was going on in that tiny office! Shout out to my 19th Street Fam! Love you much!
