— Mr. West
Mr. West sat down for a radio interview on Monday and spoke about his proposal to Kim Kardashian and what type of dad he’d like to be. See a few quotes below. xo ROZ-O!
"I just thought of it. It seemed so all-American. I just love being American, you know, and I love you know, family … I feel so blessed," West told 97.1 AMP Radio Monday morning about his over-the-top proposal to Kim Kardashian. “I feel God gave me exactly what I wanted, I have to do the right thing in God’s eyes. Just follow what God really wants me to do it will come ten fold by doing the right thing.”
What that means for West is his work takes a backseat to his bride-to-be and daughter North. “I hang out with my girl and my daughter every day. No place I’d rather be,” he said. “Not even when I’m thinking about things I’m creating in business, my biggest goal is to get home to family.”
And the burgeoning designer even has his eyes set on his daughter’s future athletic gear. “I want to figure out a way to do my work and be my daughter’s soccer coach. I’m going to be a soccer coach and redesign their uniforms. I’ll redesign the mini van,” he said.
"I am – Stefani is – a perpetually tortured artist. That’s why I changed my name. I can’t be her in public. She would be a mess!" the former Stefani Germanotta explains to Elle in its October issue, on newsstands Sept. 24.
"Everyone is so cynical – that I can’t purely love my fans, or share an honest story about my past, without someone asking me if I really, truly struggled," she says. "Do you know how much dirt I ate? Do you know the men I had to crawl through, the people that disrespected my body, my mind, my heart?"
But don’t worry, she says. She can take the criticism – because she’s a fighter. ”I’m great under pressure,” she says. “I’m a warrior. I’m Rocky, round 12.”

It’s Kendrick Lamar! I was singing when I said that FYI. OK, so the TDE rapper recently sat with the New York based magazine BULLET. Can I just say that I’m feeling the images? He was photographed by Bjarne Jonasson and you can see more images after the jump. According to Hypebeast he’s pictured in brands: HOOD BY AIR, Alexander Wang (love!) and Balenciaga (love too!). Good stuff. Check out a quote below and go directly to the BULLET magazine website for the full interview! Enjoy!
"I salute people like Jay-Z, how many tours has he been on? How many verses has he put down? How many interviews? How many radio shows? People forget that. They can’t fathom how a dude from the Marcy Projects is sitting next to Barack Obama, so they make up all types of crazy shit and forget the facts: This n***a dedicated every single day of his life to this, and what he has wasn’t just given to him. It’s no mistake he’s at where he’s at."
"I remember hitting my all time low .. depressed .. stuff really just wasn’t working out. But if I can go back now and tell myself anything .. It’s that nothing ever comes out of fear .. negativity .. you can’t expect the best .. If you’re not at your best or feel your best. That’s just .. the law of the world. But if you imagine how it feels to be doing everything you want .. everything you dream and you know and accept it’s coming .. and pay attention to how that feels .. pay attention to how you feel then. Because when you know what you want is on the way … notice how much better you feel. That’s the first step to creating the world you want. You make your own limits. It was my family who taught me that. Certain people stepped in and picked me up when I was down. Believed in me when it was hard to believe in myself … and I didn’t wanna let them down …"
Dream it. Believe it. Be it Folks! xo @rozOonTheGo
There was a point in school when I was, like, thirteen, that I didn’t feel comfortable at all. I matured more quickly than the other girls; I had bigger breasts and a bigger bum—and I hated it. I would get extra-tight leotards for my dance classes [to flatten me] because I was really ashamed of my body.
At one point, I just woke up, like, ‘I love my boobs, I love my skin, I love myself. And I’m going to get a leotard that actually fits because I can’t breathe!’
That’s right! Be confident in who you are and with what you have! RITA ORA covers the August 2013 issue of Teen Vogue! Pick it up!
"[Y]ou can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life."

"As musicians and artists, we are celebrating our humanity … It really is music and art that bind culture together."
"Fame is a part of success when you are a musician … and the attention is not necessarily pure. Sometimes it is that people need some kind of idol. Do I believe that’s right, that we idolize human beings? No, I don’t. But is that a part of it that I don’t control? Yes, it is." - Miguel

I love this daddy + son relationship; the relationship that Will and Jada have with their kids period is beautiful. The 'After Earth' co-stars cover the current issue of New York Magazine and I read some cool quotes from Will and Jaden and a compelling quote from baby girl Willow who told her dad that she no longer wanted to be in the spotlight. A decision that her parents considered carefully. Maybe this will change, but for now, she just wants to be a kid. Bravo Willow! However, I salute Jaden for following his dreams and in his Father’s footsteps. Check out excerpts below and more after the jump; including the Smith guys NY Magazine cover! xo @rozOonTheGo
"It may seem like we have pushed our kids into the business, but that is absolutely insane," the star tells New York magazine in advance of the movie’s May 31 release.
"I would never, ever, push somebody to have their face on a poster that’s going to be everywhere in the world. He is making a choice from the informed," says Will, 44.
"It’s less scary to me than if he wanted to be a dentist in that I couldn’t help with what he’d chosen. I have relationships with someone of the biggest filmmakers and actors and producers on Earth. So I can be a huge help."
"I find the whole concept of being ‘sexy’ embarrassing and confusing. But that’s not me. I feel uncomfortable. Personally, I don’t actually think it’s even that sexy. What’s sexy about saying, ‘I’m here with my boobs out and a short skirt, have a look at everything I’ve got?’ My idea of sexy is that less is more. The less you reveal the more people can wonder. - Emma Watson
