I LOVE when real talent links up! Are you guys ready for a song written by Skateboard P, Alicia Keys, Kendrick Lamar and Hans Zimmer? Well, one has made it’s way on ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2” soundtrack.
Pharrell produced “It’s On Again” and it will be one of the star tracks on the “Spider-Man 2” soundtrack. A. Keys and K. Dot provide the vocals which close out the film! It’s an upbeat song & Pharrell says that the artists “take the song to a whole new level.”
"I’m very excited to be a part of such a powerful collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams and Hans Zimmer," Keys said in a release. "This is the next chapter in the ‘Spider-Man’ legacy and we really feel ‘It’s On Again’ captures the experience, the story — and most importantly — the meaning behind the film, which is that we all have the potential to be extraordinary. There’s a little bit of a super hero in all of us.”
The soundtrack is scheduled for an April 22nd release date and the film hits U.S. theaters May 2nd.
Guys & Gals the ‘Yeezus Tour’ is heading to Australia in May! Kanye West will hit 5 big cities!
"The tour will start May 2 at Perth Arena, then visit Adelaide Entertainment Centre on May 4, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on May 6, Brisbane Entertainment Centre on May 9 and finish at Sydney’s Qantas Credit Union Arena (formerly the Sydney Entertainment Centre) on May 10. The general ticket onsale starts Feb. 24 (earlier with Live Nation and Ticketek exclusive pre-sales). "

"One month since entering a rehab center to treat an eating disorder, Ke$ha has announced that she will postpone her upcoming March and April tour dates in the U.S. to continue treatment."
"I was so looking forward to performing at these dates but I need to follow my Doctor’s advice and get my health back on track,” says Ke$ha in a press statement about the decision. "All of your support during this time has been so amazing. I couldn’t have done this without you all. I look forward to coming back stronger than ever on the next tour."
YOUNG MONEY ‘RISE OF AN EMPIRE’ COMING MARCH 11TH!
YMCMB is definitely an empire to keep your eyes fixed on. You can never count them out. They have some major forces behind that engine! Yesterday (Jan. 22) the team announced the release of a follow up compilation to ‘We Are Young Money’, which peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, selling 142,000 copies in it’s first week. Expect to hear the labels roster of artist on ROAE: Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Gudda Gudda, Tyga, Shanell, Christina Milian, Euro and Birdman. Young Money’s COO Cortez Bryant assures Us that “[their] hunger hasn’t diminished or dwindled. We’re hungrier than ever, and we’re still building.”
Lil Wayne goes on to say, “There’s nothing like it when the whole family gets together in the studio. YMCMB is stronger than ever, and everybody was truly on fire. We’re all blessed to be apart of this incredible Empire as it continues to thrive. I can’t wait for what’s next. Keep watching.”
We will indeed keep watching Weezy! In the meantime, press play and check out the first single from the upcoming release, “We Alright” which features Lil Wayne, Birdman and the newly signed talent Euro. xo ROZ-O!
Salute to these guys! According to Billboard, ‘the pop-rock trio [fun.] is launching a campaign to raise money for at-risk LGBT youth in Detroit.’ They plan to raise $250,000 to build a community health center for the Ruth Ellis Center, which provides housing, meals, clothing and medical services for LGBT youth in need.
Funds will be raised through the organization: The Ally Coalition. The guys started this organization with Jack Antonoff’s sister, designer Rachel Antonoff.
Support the cause if you can! If you can’t send funds, spreading the word is just as helpful! xo ROZ-O!
That song & video makes me SO happy (no pun) when it comes on! I’m pretty sure it does that for everyone else. For that alone, it should win! It’s uplifting! And that Beats Pill video, have you seen it? Loves it!
U2 and the bassist of Arcade Fire are also contenders for trophies at the 86th annual Academy Awards! Congrats to everyone! Get ‘happy’, peep the video below! xo ROZ-O!
Yes, a few of my favorite recording artists are headed to Brooklyn baby! Imagine Dragons, The Flaming Lips,Lauryn Hill, Tegan & Sara, the Fray, Cold World Kids, Colbie Caillat, Cake and more will all hit the Barclay’s stage for a good cause!
The worldwide human rights organization Amesty International will host an arena-sized benefit to raise money and awareness for it’s cause. The Bringing Human Rights Home concert series is making a return after it’s 1986-1998 run which featured Bruce Springsteen, Bono, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Joan Baez and others. Their goal is to ‘bring back the concerts to show a new generation of activists how to stand up for justice at home and abroad-whether it is fighting for the right to voice dissent peacefully on social networks or in the streets protecting rights of women and girls, or standing in solidarity with individuals persecuted for who they are or what they believe”
Salute! Roz-O will be On-The-Go & in attendance! It’s for a great cause, you should too! xx

According to Nielsen SoundScan, the album sold another 310,000 copies during the week ending Dec. 29! Absolutely amazing! So, the album has sold 1.3 million in its first 17 days of release in the United States! Did you read that? SEVENTEEN days! No matter how you feel about her, you have to respect the chess move that she made.

When Eminem dropped the classic track 'Stan' people were asking who’s that on the hook? I already knew that it was British singer Dido! I was fan of hers since her debut album ‘No Angel’, which gave us the hit "Thank You" - the song famously sampled on Eminem’s single 'Stan' and get this, she now has a son named Stanley. Ha! Dido recently sat down with Billboard to discuss her ‘Greatest Hits’ album dropping November 25th and she speaks of performing with Mr. Mathers. Click the title for the full interview! xo ROZ-O!
Did you ever think you would have a greatest hits album?
No! (Laughs) It was a bit of a surprise. I was in the middle of making a record and my friend came and said, “Do you want to do a greatest hits?” And I was like, “Really?” It probably always seems crazy to do a greatest hits. I had so much fun putting it together… it’s like a proper celebration of the last 15 years. It’s not something you think will happen.
This summer, you performed “Stan” onstage with Eminem at Leeds Fest. What’s it like performing that with him after all these years?
It was brilliant, a lot of fun. The crowd reaction was amazing. A real buzz. It was a really fun thing to do.
Congratulations Eminem! Well Deserved! Marshall Mathers LP 2 is Em’s seventh #1 album, all consecutive and all debuts at #1 and it “posts a larger debut than his last album, 2010’s "Recovery", which started with 741,000.” Still quite impressive eh?! Shout out to everyone who supported by buying the album. Give yourselves a pat on the back!
