NBA Fines LeBron James, Lance Stephenson & David West For Flopping.
It was announced today (Thursday) that the NBA issued 3 fines for violating its anti-flopping rules during Game-4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Who are the violators? LeBron James, Lance Stephenson and David West. The video above shows where West and James collaborated on the rare double flop during Game 4. As for Stephenson, he was caught for his flop after a run-in with Ray Allen.
So what’s the penalty for all three guys? A smooth $5,000. Hopefully there won’t be any offenders during Game 5 tonight at 8:30ET; check your local listings!

Everyone knows that I’m a HUGE sports fan, but I didn’t catch the Louisville game yesterday and from the sound of the tweets I’m glad that I didn’t. I logged onto twitter and saw my friends and associates almost begging networks to never replay the gruesome injury again. I immediately began praying for Ware; my heart went out to him.
The University of Louisville point guard is now on the road to recovery thankfully. Even through his pain the Bronx, NY native encouraged his teammates, telling Chane Behanan at halftime: “Don’t worry about me, I’m good. I’ll have my surgery tonight. Go win it for me.” Now that’s heart and his wish was granted. The team took home the trophy winning the Midwest Regional over powerhouse Duke, 85-63. They’re headed to the Final Four in Atlanta on Saturday. The trophy is now at Ware’s hospital bedside. The team coach says that Ware is expected to play again. Good for him! xo @rozOonTheGo

If you’re a fan of professional basketball then you are well aware of OKC’s point guard Russell Westbrook. He glides on the court, assuring that he gets the ball into the hands of ‘OKC’s scoring machine’ Kevin Durant’. As Complex points out, ‘No matter what box you try to place Westbrook in, the natural-born non-conformist refuses to stay in it. “I take risks, but I don’t of it that way,” he says with a smile.’ And I’d like to point out that he has an amazing smile!
I’m definitely a major fan of professional football, but I love watching an aggressive, entertaining game of professional basketball as well and Westbrook never disappoints! I agree that his style isn’t always ‘pretty’, but it’s effective most of the time. His game is unlike most point guards in the association and he’s super fast! The offensive opportunities he creates are great to watch and even with that height he moves swiftly on the court. That Durant/Westbrook combination is something to watch and I’m looking forward to seeing more great things from this kid!

LEBRON JAMES HAS THE BEST-SELLING JERSEY FOR 2012:
The NBA put out a list this Wednesday of the highest selling jerseys, where LeBron James came in at number 1. LeBron James is at pace to hold the number one best selling jersey of the year like he did in 2011. Kevin Durant is number 2 on the players’ list of best selling jerseys, falling in front of Kobe Bryant who’s in at number 3. In addition to LeBron leading the league in best-selling jerseys, the New York Knicks are leading the list in team-sales category.
