These boys will have a busy schedule come August! Not that it’s not chaotic now! On August 30th their debut 3D feature film, ‘This Is Us’ hits theaters, but three days before that they’ll release a new book! ‘One Direction: Where We Are’ will be available for their many fans on August 27 through Harper-Collins. The announcement was made on yesterday, Wednesday, May 22.
“This is the only official book from 1D charting their journey over the last year and a half — from the places they’ve visited and fans they’ve met, to their thoughts and feelings, hopes and dreams, highs and lows,” reads the official book description. “Where We Are” — which is subtitled ” Our Band, Our Story: 100% Official” — is 240 pages longs and will retail for $21.99.

The singer won an award in all three R&B categories! To be more specific, that’s Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Album (Unapologetic) and Top R&B song (“Diamond”). Additionally, she received the Top Radio Artist award! Pour it up, pour it up Rih!
The singer is tied for second most awards of the night with Gotye. She was nominated for 10 awards in total.’

That fashionable guy PHARRELL WILLIAMS will be supporting the fashionable chick RIHANNA by mentoring competitors on her upcoming show ‘Styled To Rock’. The series will air on the Style Network offering 10-episodes and premiering sometime this year.
Rihanna is the producer of the show and she’ll be searching for the ‘next trendsetting designers’ amongst 12 lucky competitors. They’ll have the opportunity to create designs for A-list celebrities throughout the competition. What a great opportunity! They’ll face challenges, they’ll be mentored by Pharrell and they’ll be under pressure through it all! Pharrell recently assisted singer Usher as a mentor on hit tv show, The Voice. I liked his style of critique, so I and the Style Network think he’s perfect for the job.
“We are delighted to have Pharrell, who is a driving force in both the music industry and fashion world, serve as a mentor on ‘Styled to Rock,” said Salaam Coleman Smith, president of Style Media. “Pharrell’s unique aesthetic and commitment to individuality combined with Rihanna’s vision for this series will enable our aspiring designers to hone their craft and learn from the very people who set the trends.”
Yes, as speculated, the giant that is GOOGLE launched a music streaming service today!
The music subscription business is crowded, but Google, Inc. still feels that they can snag a piece of, if not all of this largely growing business. It’s ‘dubbed all access’ and it’s available in the U.S. as of today (Wednesday) for $9.99 a month with a 30-Day free trial. However, you can get a special rate of $7.99 per month if you sign up before June 30th.
The announcement was made at Google’s I/O conference for developers. I know personally that the Music Giants like Warner Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group are embracing this new service from Google. ‘Music executives have applauded Google’s entry into the market.’
It’s not so warmly welcomed by everyone however. I’d like to see how it plays out. My main concern is that the Artist who creates the music is taking care of. Revenue will surely be increased for the music giants; let’s just assure it trickles down to the creators of the music that’s being streamed! The right amount that is .. as in percentage!

Sorry Belgium: BEYONCE Has Canceled Due to Dehydration & Exhaustion
We all know that Queen Bey puts on a high-energy show and it appears that it’s caught up to her. This is normal amongst touring Entertainers. Unfortunately, some never stop or cancel a show and end up collapsing during a performance. So thankfully, B is listening to her body and her doctors.
According to a letter to The Associated Press, Beyonce’s publicist writes that her client has been advised by her doctors to rest. In turn, her performance at the Sportpales in Antwerp has been canceled and will be rescheduled. Concert goers will be able to use their tickets at that show.
“Her next tour date is Wednesday at the same arena. The statement says “she is awaiting word from her doctors before making a decision.”
