ADAM BALDWIN Joins ‘Law And Order: SVU’:

Adam Baldwin is joining the cast of “Law & Order: SVU.” According to TV Guide, the “Firefly” and “Chuck” veteran will appear in the first three episodes as the new interim captain of the Special Victims Unit.

Baldwin’s character, Capt. Steven Harris, is taking over for Capt. Capt. Donald Cragen (Dann Florek). Cragen was last seen in the Season 13 finale with a dead prostitute in his bed. Look for friction with between the new captain and the elite squad of detectives.

Paget Brewster will also guest star in the Season 14 premiere.
