NAS On The Road to His 6th No. 1 Album on Billboard 200:

Nas┬áis set for his sixth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 as his just-released album, “Life Is Good,” is heading for the top slot next week. Industry sources suggest that the title will sell perhaps 120,000, which should be enough to secure a No. 1 bow.

The new Billboard 200 chart’s top 10 will be revealed on the morning of Wednesday, July 25.

Nas previously hit the top with “It Was Written” (1996); the collaboration set “The Firm” (1997) with Foxy Brown, AZ and Nature; “I Am” (1999); “Hip Hop Is Dead” (2007) and “Untitled” (2008). The latter — his last solo studio effort — arrived with 187,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan. In 2010, his “Distant Relatives” collabo with Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley started at No. 5 with 57,000.

I really hope that people went out and supported REAL Hip-Hop and a dope album! Between ‘Life is Good’ and ‘Channel Orange’ I’ve been on a music high this week. If you haven’t PURCHASED Nas’ latest please do yourself a favor and do it NOW! xo @RozOonTheGo
